Building where you want to be

RURAL vs URBAN BUILDING

When building in a rural area, it is important to have an expert by your side to navigate the intricate details. Rural communities often need additional infrastructure commonly found in an urban development and therefore may require land preparation prior to beginning construction. CCS Homes will help you through those steps and ensure your rural lot is prepped for your home!

Lot preparation and placement

Some lots require forestry removal, clearing rocks, or temporary driveways for access. We will meet on your site to consider those items, as well as, determine the best placement for your home!

Utilities

We will help determine the utility provider and costs for connecting those services to your home. These expenses can vary based on what is in place and what needs to be installed.

Septic

If your lot doesn’t have access to public sewer systems, then you will need a private septic system instead. Our team will identify the best size and type of system for your home.

LP Tank

If we can’t access natural gas utilities, you may elect to have an LP tank placed. We will connect with those vendors and determine sizing, placement, and contract for services for you.

Materials

Building rurally can allow for less restrictions on how we build your home, including the materials used. We will identify what restrictions, if any, that we must meet and based on that information, we may be able to implement cost saving measures using alternate materials. For example, a gravel driveway instead of a paved driveway.
