My ‘tribute’ home [was built in honor of my family’s connection to Iowa’s one room schoolhouses].  It features retro, red appliances, retro push-button light switches, quarter sawn oak, and a cornice over my kitchen window.  The ideas for my home were appropriately prioritized and some changes made to better fit my budget.  The options and costs were thoroughly discussed.  I went over my initial budget, but NOTHING was an unexpected surprise. My phone calls were ALWAYS returned promptly and tolerance of my “mindset” was greatly appreciated.  It is comforting to think of the scriptures written inside the walls [on the studs]. So many of God’s children were involved in building my home.  A thank you to Alan, Sarah, Jamie, Mike and everyone who worked so hard!
